It was an extremely exciting day here on the farm. We launched our published children's book, We Belong to Each Other for pre-order. The book follows the story of Grace, our Icelandic sheep, coming to the farm. It shares how she came to our farm, with no other farm animals here on the farm. Aft first, she doesn't think she belongs, but after meeting some of the farm family and feeling all of the love, she realizes she is right where she belongs. 

We wrote the entire story with a smile on our face, but have to admit a few tears of sadness suprised us with how fast time has come and gone. I cannot believe we have had grace now for nearly 3 years, and we actually wrote the book before Cope. To look back at that time and to look at Cope approaching his 2nd birthday is just crazy. 

The big question we are getting is about the journey of writing this book. The journey was fun but the highlight of the book was sitting down with Cope, reading through the book and watching his face recognize his animals here on the farm... I mean how cool is that!
