eeeeek! It still feels so cool to have this new blog for our farm where Jose & I can come & share our farm adventures, Jose’s DIY projects, our 1800’s farmhouse renovation & more. If it happens on White Cottage Farm, it will be here on the blog. Thank you for the excitement & support this week for our launch of this blog. On Friday’s we wanted to start something fun called “Friday Farmhouse Favorites” where we show you what we are loving around the farm for that week. This week I [Liz] wanted to jump on here & show my favorites for the week, but sometimes it will be Jose, & sometimes it will be the dogs, & sometimes it will be all of us. This week we are transitioning from winter, to spring, back to winter, so my favorites are all about that transition. I hope you guys enjoy this series & feel free to share you farmhouse favorites with us in the comments below, on Facebook, & on Instagram...
1. Our good friend Liz from Love Grows Wild wrote an amazing book of how to add farmhouse charm to your home & we are obsessed with all the DIY projects & tips & tricks she offers to do that. We also love Liz’s passion for her farm & family. You can pick the book up [HERE] on Amazon.
2. It’s this weird time of Michigan here on the farm where one day it’s sunny, the next it’s raining, & the next there is a little snow. Boots are necessary, but trading in the big heavy winter boots for some more dainty, but equally qualified boots are the perfect choice. These peachy short winter/rain boots are too cute to pass up. You can find the boots [HERE].
3. Faux topiaries aren’t usually a farmers favorite, but in the winter/ early spring it can be the best choice when real plants aren’t easily available. I love how topiaries bring farmhouse charm to the home so some faux topiaries are the perfect touch this time of year. You can find this olive topiary [HERE].
Thank you guys for stopping by the blog! Catch me daily on my personal blog [HERE] for more things about our farmhouse & life. xx Liz
